Christie Angry Again: Debate Space 'Dominated By Toilet'

So says Christie's campaign manager, who reportedly described the greenroom thusly: "We're in a restroom."

First, he was caught yelling on Amtrak. Now, his campaign is steaming about a toilet.

As Gov. Chris Christie gets ready for the Wednesday GOP debate, the governor’s campaign isn’t pleased that his accommodations - compared to that of Trump’s - resemble a small restroom.

Trump was granted a spacious room with plush chairs and a flat-screen TV, while Marco Rubio got a theater-type room - packed with leather seats for him and his team of aides - and Carly Fiorina’s room had a Jacuzzi, according to the report.

“Then there was Chris Christie, whose small space was dominated by a toilet,” according to the Politico report. “So was Rand Paul’s.”

Christie’s campaign was one of the few to express anger about the accommodations, but his office declined to comment to nj.com.

Earlier this month, Trump and Ben Carson threatened to boycott the event if the network and the RNC did not make the event two hours long, and if they went ahead with a plan to nix candidates’ opening and closing remarks. CNBC agreed to the terms, according to nj.com.
