Glen Rock Police Accepting Unwanted Medicine Saturday

Residents may drop off unwanted prescription pills at the Glen Rock Police Department Saturday as part of Operation Take Back.

The nationwide initiative is an attempt to prevent prescription drug abuse, poisonings, and overdoses.

Pills can be brought to the police department at 1 Harding Plaza between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The event is being done in partnership with the national Drug Enforcement Administration.

No liquids, needles, or over-the-counter medications will be accepted.
