Gov. Christie Signs 2 Executive Orders

Gov. Chris Christie has recently signed two executive orders, effective immediately.

The following orders took effect on Friday: 

Executive Order No. 197 – Executive Orders Nos. 34, 69, 97, 136, 145 and 168 are hereby superseded and Paragraph 6 of Executive Order No. 11 (2010) is amended to provide that the New Jersey Gaming, Sports, and Entertainment Advisory Commission shall not expire upon the issuance of its final report, but rather shall continue in existence until December 31, 2016.

Executive Order No. 198 – Executive Order No. 155 is hereby superseded and Paragraph 11 of ExecutiveOrder No. 41 is amended to provide that the [Red Tape] Review Commission shall continue in existence untilDecember 31, 2017.
