An independent investigation has revealed that Glen Rock has a ”better than average” police department and that the department’s state is ”good to excellent.”

Harwood Lloyd, LLC was hired to investigate the department following the deletion of photographs from a 2005 retirement party. A report on the firm’s findings was recently released.

Carter interviewed 28 people and found the department to be ”good to excellent” and that every police officer interviewed “volunteered that he or she loved being a Glen Rock Police Officer, loved Glen Rock, and looked forward to coming to work everyday.”

However, a number of “inconsistencies” were brought to Carver’s attention by ”rank and file indicated a lack of response or attention” by management. These incidents have been brought to the attention of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office for further investigation, the report states.
