Yes I did it! I actually weighed in on Saturday and committed to losing a little weight. I say little because I am realistic. As a chef and creator of food I must taste it shouldn't I? I will be weighing in every two weeks and keep you posted.
I do believe you can still enjoy eating food and keep it healthy and hearty. So I have created lots of new menu items for our weekly dinner menus like quinoa with roasted sweet potato & kale, wheat berry with fresh tomato, cucumber & cilantro and farro with lemony summer veggie slaw. A piece of grilled chicken or salmon along with any one of these salads is more than satisfying. A nice long walk to destress after a long day in the kitchen is all I need to do to see results. Well I'm off to the races!
