Man Masturbated In Front Of Minor, Bergen County Prosecutors Say
An Englewood man was charged with lewdness for an act in front of a minor, and Bergen County says they're investigating similar incidents.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A 34-year-old Englewood man has been charged with numerous offenses after, according to prosecutors, he masturbated in public while in the presence of a minor.
Now, prosecutors are investigating other, similar incidents in that town and another, they say.
Dawid S. Iwaszek was charged Friday with criminal sexual assault by sexual contact, endangering the welfare of a child, and lewdness, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutors say that they were contacted on Thursday, May 23, by the Englewood Police Department regarding an alleged incident of criminal sexual assault by sexual contact against a juvenile under the age of 13.
"An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Englewood Police Department revealed that Dawid Iwaszek exposed himself and masturbated in public while in the presence of a juvenile under the age of 13," prosecutors say.

On Friday, Iwaszek was arrested in Englewood and charged. He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, prosecutors say.
Meanwhile, prosecutors say, "During the course of the investigation, similarities were noted between this incident and at least two other incidents that previously occurred in the Englewood and Teaneck area."
