Men Allegedly Stole $1,600 Worth Of Alcohol From Glen Rock Bottle King: Police
Authorities said the men may be running a high-end alcohol shoplifting ring throughout North Jersey.
GLEN ROCK, N.J. — Police suspect a crew that runs a high-value alcohol shoplifting ring stole $1,600 worth of merchandise from the Bottle King on Prospect Street in August.
Police said a light blue Dodge Caravan dropped off two men at the store Aug. 8. One of the men filled a shopping cart with more than $1,600 worth of alcohol while the other acted as a lookout, police said.
The men exited the store, met the minivan, and got away, police said.

The crew is suspected of being involved in several high-value alcohol thefts of liquor stores throughout North Jersey. The total amount of merchandise stolen is believed to be "several thousand dollars," police said.
