Multi-Family Housing, Parking Deck Funding Up For Votes In Ridgewood
The Village Council will vote on the long-debated issues at a special meeting at Ridgewood High School Wednesday.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ - Multi-family housing in the Central Business District and funding for the Hudson Street parking deck will be voted on at the Village Council's meeting Wednesday.
A special public meeting for the multi-family housing ordinances and a vote on the bond ordinance to fund the Hudson Street parking deck will be held. This meeting will have a separate agenda from the regular meeting.
Village Council introduced an ordinance earlier this month to bond $11.5 million for the parking deck. Officials also voted 3-2 against an ordinance that would have rescinded the county's involvement with the parking deck.

Residents have spoken out against the Bergen County Improvement Authority bonding with the village for the project. A small group of residents want only the township to bond and be responsible for the deck.
The meeting will be held in the Ridgewood High School campus center beginning at 7:30 p.m. It will be streamed live on the village's YouTube channel.
