​A New Jersey man has been charged with sexually assaulting a child for five years, according to authorities.

A New Jersey man has been charged with sexually assaulting a child for five years, according to authorities.

Job N. Ramos-Aguilar, 27, of Cliffside Park was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by contact and child endangerment, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Ramos-Aguilar had sex with the juvenile from 2006 to 2014 in Fairview, child welfare authorities told the BCPO, and he was arrested Friday after an investigation.

The victim was under 13 years old, and the sexual abuse continued for approximately five years, according to the BCPO.

The arrest came as the result of a joint investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit and the Fairview Police Department.

Ramos-Aguilar was being held on $250,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.
