Police Use Drone To Help Search For Missing 'Endangered' Bergen Man, Report Says
Officers from 27 Bergen County police departments searched for the man for several hours Saturday who later turned himself into authorities.

More than 40 police officers from 27 Bergen County departments searched for the man for hours Saturday, the report states.
The man, who was reported to be a former New York City police officer, turned himself into authorities, the report said.

Officers from the Bergen County Rapid Deployment Force used a drone with a video camera in their search for the man. Midland Park Police Chief Michael Powderley said the drone gives authorities the ability to look above the tree line to see if anyone was hiding, the report stated.
