Priest Accused Of Pointing Gun At Boy Pleads Not Guilty, Report Says
The Rev. Kevin Carter allegedly pointed a Civil War-era rifle at an 8-year-old boy at St. Margaret of Cortona Church Sept. 13.

The Rev. Kevin Carter entered a plea of not guilty to charges stemming from an incident where he allegedly pointed a unloaded Civil War-era rifle at an 8-year-old boy last month, The Record reported.
Carter entered the plea regarding charges of endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated assault, the report states.

Dozens of supports, including dozens of law enforcement officials, filled the courtroom and flanked Carter as he made a statement expressing concerns for the alleged victim and his family.
A friend of Carter’s, Richard Fritzky, is disputing the allegation that Carter pointed the gun at the boy, The Record reported. Fritzky said Carter was teasing the boy, who was wearing a Dallas Cowboys shirt. Carter is a New York Giants fan.
