Residents Can Give Input On Schedler Property Application Tonight
Village has applied for a county grant to redevelop the property with an athletic field.

The Village Council will hold a special public meeting tonight on the Schedler Property during its regular meeting at Ridgewood Village Hall at 8 p.m.
Residents may offer comments and suggestions regarding the village’s plan to redevelop and install an athletic field on the property off Saddle River Road.
The village has applied for a grant from the Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund to help finance the controversial project. The grant would help finance the first phase of work on the property, which would include demolishing a two-car garage and small shed, removing downed and dead trees, and cleaning up the site.

Several people, many of whom live near the property, spoke out against the plan at a recent council meeting.
The meeting will be held in the Sydney V. Stoldt, Jr. Court Room on the fourth floor of village hall.
