Ridgewood Council To Vote On Development Ordinances This Month Despite Lawsuit
Ordinances would permit high-density, multi-family housing in the Central Business District.

The Village Council will vote Sept. 16 on a series of sweeping reforms that could allow high-density housing to be built in the Central Business District.
Citizens for a Better Ridgewood, a grassroots non-profit, filed a lawsuit Aug. 10 seeking a reversal of the Planning Board’s June 2 decision to permit high-density multifamily housing in the district.
Mayor Paul Aronsohn said the vote will take place despite the lawsuit.
