Ridgewood Downtown Valet Service Debuts

The service costs $5, but some stores and restaurants will pay that fee for customers.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The valet service for the Central Business District is available on Friday

LAZ Parking will offer the service from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights at the bus station on Van Neste Square. Vehicles will be dropped off on one side of the median and picked up on the other.

The price is $5 per vehicle and both shoppers and diners may use the service. Some shops and restaurants will pay for the service.

A list of businesses paying for the service will be placed on the village website.

The service was slated to start last month, but was delayed because a few things still had to be worked out, officials said.
