Ridgewood Emergency Services Special Uniforms for Breast Cancer Awareness

Ridgewood Emergency Services volunteers are wearing special pink uniform shirts throughout the month of October as part of its annual campaign to raise awareness about Breast Cancer. Volunteers are using the Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign to encourage members of the public to take steps that will help detect the disease in its early stages, including self-exams and regular mammograms. While a lot of progress has been made in increasing awareness about breast cancer and the benefits of early detection, there is still a long way to go in combating the disease.
