Ridgewood Police Walk Through Schools Tuesday Following Disturbing Comment Student Said: Report

Ridgewood police officers walked school-to-school Tuesday afternoon after one student made a “disturbing comment,” The Daily Voice reported.

Chief John Ward said there there was “absolutely no danger” and that “no crime has been committed,” the report said.

Ward said the department has been stepping up school security checks and patrolling the institutions on a regular basis.”
