TAEKWONDO ALL IN Another Swept ‘2014 NJ STATE TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS AND 2014 NATIONAL TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATION ’ Titles

On Sunday, March 9, Eighteen athletes from TAEKWONDO ALL IN, located on 33 Chestnut St., had participated at the NJ State Taekwondo Championship and The 2014 National Taekwondo Championship and Qualification at the South Plainfield High School where more than 500 athletes gathered and competed.

TAEKWONDO ALL IN athletes earned NJ State Best School and 15 Gold, 12 Silver and 11 Bronze Medals.

After participating in this championship, athletes who earned at least one bronze medal are eligible to participate at 2014 USA National Taekwondo Championship in San Jose, CA. The winner of the USA National Championships will become a member of the USA National Taekwondo team.

Alex Han is the first athlete who earned a Gold medal. He is 5 years old and has been training for only 6 months. He won 3 rounds of Sparring to earn the Gold medal.  

Ethan Bernal earned a Gold medal at the final Sparring and his score was 13 to 0.

Brandon Son earned Gold medals from Sparring at the 2013 Big East Taekwondo Championship, 2013 NJ Governor’s Cup and 2014 NJ State Taewondo Championship.

Michelle Chung earned a Gold medal from Sparring just like she did at the 2013 Big East Taekwondo Championship.

Tony An earned two Gold medals from Form and Breaking. He competed and beat last year’s winner from the National Taekwondo Form Champion.

Julia An earned a Gold medal with an impressive final score.

In the most competitive Breaking Group of 18 years old & above, Kangwoo Kim showed the best performance and won a Gold medal. 

Our new Master Seongki Kim showed his specialty in Form and Breaking to our students and they received very good results.  

Master Young Min Kim, the head instructor of TAEKWONDO ALL IN, started taekwondo at the age of five and continued for 16 years as a taekwondo athlete, from elementary school and throughout university. He has a graduate degree in M.S. Physical Education - Sports Management from The City University of New York Brooklyn College. He is a master who has both physical and intellectual skills in the taekwondo professional field.

Master Kim states that anyone from the ages of three or higher can learn taekwondo with great satisfaction.  Anyone who wants to learn taekwondo can visit the do jang (gym) and register for a class that accommodates all levels.
