Tesla Issues 'Correction' On Self-Driving Car Article
The article was about George Hotz a hacker originally from Glen Rock who is building a self-driving car in his garage.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted a “correction” to an a Bloomberg article on George Hotz’s self-driving car technology, which he reportedly built by himself in his garage.
Tesla and Musk are mentioned several times in the article. Hotz, a Glen Rock native who lives in San Francisco, reportedly has a bet with Musk to prove his self-driving car is better than one built by Mobileye, which supplies some of the technology for Tesla’s Autopilot system.

“The article by Ashlee Vance did not correctly represent Tesla or MobilEye. We think it is extremely unlikely that a single person or even a small company that lacks extensive engineering validation capability will be able to produce an autonomous driving system that can be deployed to production vehicles,” a post on Telsa’s website states.
Musk also posted about the article’s alleged inaccuracy on Twtter.

Hotz retrofitted a 2016 Acura ILX with a radar system on the roof, camera, display screen, joystick, and computer processors to try and has been testing the car on roadways near his house, Bloomberg originally reported.
Hotz was the first person to hack the original iPhone and three years later he hacked the PlayStation 3. He met with Musk and nearly went to work for Telsa but he broke off the talks.
