Tight Water Restrictions Remain In Effect In Ridgewood And Glen Rock

Tight water restrictions remain in effect despite the rain and cooler temperatures North Jersey’s been experiencing recently.

Stage 4 restrictions are still in effect, Ridgewood Water announced Friday.

Irrigation is not allowed on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Hand-held hoses with spray nozzles may be used to irrigate for odd-numbered addresses on Tuesdays and Saturdays and at even-numbered addresses Wednesdays and Sundays.

Waivers for special circumstances, including watering newly planted lawns and shrubs, washing vehicles or houses, and filling swimming pools will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
