UPWARD BASKETBALL REGISTRATION BEGINS

October 14, 2015, Ridgewood, New Jersey – Smooth moves. Great shots. Big smiles. NBA-style introductions. Important basketball and life lessons. Upward Basketball® is for boy and girls in first through sixth grades—and is designed to give children and their families a positive sports experience, building faith, character and self-esteem.

Registration is limited so don’t delay! To register your child, visit www.upwardridgewood.com—and follow the online registration directions. The early registration cost per child is $125. Starting October 15, the cost is $140. The deadline for registration is October 28. The season is eight weeks long, with two preseason practices (10 weeks total). Weekly games and practices are one hour each. Practices begin the week of January 5, 2016.

Upward aims to provide the best sports experience for your child. At the end of the season, we want you to be thinking, ‘That is exactly what I wanted my child to experience.’ From the skills and drills, to the lessons on life, to the game-day experience, your child is the focus.

1st – 6th Grade Boys/Girls
All practices will be held on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday night at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ridgewood. (1-2 graders: 6-7 p.m.; 3-6 graders: 7-8 p.m.; some teams will also practice from 5-6 p.m. for those coaches who can make it at that hour.)
All games will be held on Sundays at Bethlehem as well. Games start at 1 p.m. The Last game of the day ends at 8 p.m.

Evaluation Nights
ALL players must attend one evaluation session and be sized for jerseys and shorts. The process should only take 20 minutes.
Monday, October 26:
1 & 2 grade boys and girls ONLY: 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Exceptions allowed for families with more than one child playing in different grade brackets. You may attend either night.
Tuesday, October 27:
3 & 4 grade boys and girls: 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
5 & 6 grade boys and girls: 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
