UPDATE: Woman, Man, Kids, Dog Survive Glen Rock Car Crash
UPDATE: Two cars collided at a residential intersection in Glen Rock early Monday evening, resulting in an injury and summons, police said.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Two vehicles collided in a residential intersection in Glen Rock early Monday evening, but all passengers (including a dog) survived.
An Acura SUV and a Kia SUV crashed at the intersection of Central Avenue and Ackerman Avenue, said Police Chief Dean Ackermann (no relation).
He said, "At 5:59 p.m. officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with airbag deployment at the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Central Avenue. Investigation determined that a 2021 Kia, operated by a 58-year-old Glen Rock man, driving northbound on Central Avenue, disregarded the stop sign at Central Avenue and Ackerman Avenue.

Then, the man's. vehicle collided with a 2024 Acura driven by a 55-year-old North Haledon woman, he said.
The woman was taken to Valley Hospital in Paramus with a non-life-threatening head injury, he said.

There was a dog in the vehicle with her who was not injured.
The driver of the Kia was issued a summons for failure to stop or yield. The driver and children, ages 7 and 8, who were passengers in the vehicle, were not injured, the chief said.
The investigating officer was Officer T.J. Graziani.
