On September 28th, YWCA of Bergen County held their 2013 Health Insurance Forum: What You Need to Know about the Affordable Care Act at the Logan Family Life Center – Mt. Olive Baptist Church. It was a free forum to educate and empower the community about their health and healthcare choices. The forum included a healthcare vendor expo, a panel discussion on “Healthcare Reform and What it Means to You”, and Affordable Care Workshops. The event kicked off with a book signing with Sherri Shepherd, co-host of “The View” and author of Plan D: How to Lose Weight and Beat Diabetes (Even If You Don’t Have It).
