Arrest at Rumson House Party on East River Road

Complaints were called in for a house party on East River Road that got too noisy.

Rumson, NJ - A 15-year-old male teen from Rumson was arrested Friday night, Sept. 23 after complaints were called in for a house party on East River Road that got too noisy.

The teen was charged with maintaining a nuisance by Sgt. Peter Koenig after the officer responded to a report of a party at the East River Road home. The juvenile was released to a guardian.

In an unrelated incident, two 18- and 17-year-old Middletown teens were arrested for an armed robbery that happened earlier this summer in Rumson on Riverside Drive. Two juveniles told Rumson police the robbery happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23 in a home on Riverside Drive. A gun was shown and the two then subsequently fled the scene in their vehicle with an iPhone and $35 dollars in cash.
