All About Tinnitus

Do you experience ringing, buzzing, whooshing, or other sounds in your ears that no one else can hear? If so, you are not alone! You have tinnitus, one of the most common health conditions in the country, experienced by 10 percent of the U.S. adult population — over 25 million Americans.

Please join us on Zoom for this special opportunity to learn about tinnitus from Dr. Erin Walborn-Sterantino, a licensed audiologist with nearly three decades of clinical experience specializing in tinnitus management. She will explore the underlying mechanisms of tinnitus, and will address the critical question of why some individuals are significantly bothered by tinnitus while others are not, offering insight into the neural and emotional pathways involved.

Attendees will also learn about current, evidence-based treatment options—including sound therapy, cognitive and mindfulness-based interventions, and Lenire®, the first FDA-approved bimodal neuromodulation device—highlighting how these approaches can be tailored to support long-term habituation and relief.
