Amani Presents: A Love Story for the Ages

We’re excited to welcome back the musical collective Amani for a very special Valentine’s Day weekend program! Join in at the Scotch Plains Public Library on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2:00pm for this remarkable concert of classic love songs.

The afternoon–dedicated to Marty Eigen’s mother who was born on Valentine’s Day– will feature a performance of cherished love songs, and a celebration of Marty’s new book, A Love Story for the Ages. Based on his parents’ own lives, this heartfelt romance follows two young lovers from immigrant families who meet in their teens and marry.

Following the performance, you’ll have a chance to purchase copies of Marty’s book. Light refreshments will be served.

Amani will feature: Marty Eigen – Sax and Vocal, Stephen Fuller – Vocal, Flip Peters – Guitar and Vocal and Ron Naspo – Bass
