NJ Author Patrice McDonough to Visit Scotch Plains Public Library

Author Patrice McDonough will be at the Scotch Plains Public Library to discuss the newly published book in her historical mystery series, A Slash of Emerald, on Monday, March 24 at 7pm. Her series takes place in Victorian London, featuring Dr. Julia Lewis a female physician who works with Scotland Yard at a time when most women aren’t allowed to even practice medicine.

Registration is recommended; attendees who register by March 15 will have the option to pre-order a copy of the book for $25 through the Friends of the Scotch Plains Public Library. A limited number of both books in the series, including the series debut Murder by Lamplight, will be available to purchase at the event.
