Special Screening of Flyways: The Incredible Journey of Shorebirds

Flyways, an award winning PBS documentary, tells the story of the world’s most incredible athletes – shorebirds, who fly up to nine days non-stop without food or water! Join us at the Scotch Plains Public Library for a special screening of this impactful and instructive film.

Flyways invites you to follow a conservation movement of bird-loving experts and citizen scientists as they mobilize to the challenge of understanding and saving shorebirds.

This is a story of hope and discovery as these birds traverse oceans and continents. Most importantly, Flyways informs us of the positive action we can take to stem the tide – on a local and global level.
