Home Electrification Workshop at the Scotch Plains Public Library

Join in an informative workshop with trained electrification coaches to learn how to undertake the electrification process in your home.

(Connie Pinkowski)

Join in a workshop on Home Electrification at the Scotch Plains Public Library on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 7:00pm and you will learn why and how to electrify your home, including how to take advantage of available rebates, tax credits and utility funding!

Many New Jersey homes use natural gas for heating, water heating, and cooking. Burning gas in our homes is a major contributor to climate change, creates unhealthy indoor air pollution and contributes to respiratory problems like asthma. But through electrification, you have the ability to replace gas appliances with clean, safe, efficient electric ones.

The New Jersey Electrification Coaching Network helps homeowners and renters understand the process of electrifying their homes, especially by installing heat pumps, heat pump water heaters and dryers, EV chargers, solar panels, and induction ranges. You’ll also learn about tax credits, rebates, and utility funding.
