Telescope Night with the Morris Museum Astronomical Society
Join us outside of the Scotch Plains Public Library for an evening of stargazing presented by the Morris Museum Astronomical Society.
Join us at the Scotch Plains Public Library on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 between 8:30pm and 10pm for a family-friendly night of stargazing with members of the Morris Museum Astronomical Society! The event will take place outside the Library — just look for the telescopes.
Registration is not required, but it will help us to have an idea of the expected attendance, and if you register we can contact you on the day of the program after 3pm to let you know if the weather is favorable for viewing.
The Morris Museum Astronomical Society holds regular celestial and solar observing sessions for members and provides outreach observing to schools and civic organizations throughout northern New Jersey. They welcome new members, no matter their experience level.
