Fire Breaks Out On First Street Monday In Secaucus
A duplex caught fire Monday afternoon, Jan. 14 in Secaucus and the fire was bad enough that mutual aid had to be called in from Jersey City.

SECAUCUS, NJ — A duplex home caught fire Monday afternoon, Jan. 14 in Secaucus, and the fire was bad enough that mutual aid had to be called in from Jersey City and Lyndhurst, a spokesman for the Secaucus police department said.
Here is video posted on YouTube from the scene of the fire, on the 700 block of First Street, in between Centre Avenue and Front Street. The fire was caused by a candle, said Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli.
No injuries were reported, according to Secaucus police public information officer Capt. Dennis Miller.
