Plainsboro Prostitution Ring Ran Out of Massage Parlor, Prosecutor Says

An Edison man was identified as the owner of the massage parlor, police said.

Plainsboro, NJ - A massage parlor right off Rt. 1 in Plainsboro Township sold far more than massages, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey.

Five people were charged with running a prostitution ring out of Zen Healthy Center, which is located on Mapleton Road just south of the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.

Among those arrested Friday were Yan Sipasseuth, 54, of Edison, who was identified as the owner of the facility; Siew Hong Tan, 52, of New York City, who was the transporter of the prostitutes, and Pintg Chen, 56, of Brooklyn, police said.

Also charged were two women who were accused of engaging in prostitution. Their names and ages have yet to be determined, police said.

Tan was charged with two counts of promoting prostitution. Sipasseuth and Chen each were charged with one count of promoting prostitution. Chen also was charged with one count of engaging in prostitution.

The arrests came Friday as part of a statewide crackdown on human trafficking.

During the investigation, police seized $8,000 in cash and bank accounts and a 2014 Land Rover that was used to transport prostitutes from New York to Plainsboro.
