We have a show within a show—-“Old Orange in Black and White” is the title of a two-month course in photography taught by professional photographers at Arts Unbound. The class participants were all senior residents of Orange. Their work is part of the current “CLICK” photography show at Arts Unbound.

The class was an effort to strengthen community, celebrate the history of Orange, showcase the wealth of knowledge in the memory of Orange residents, and develop photography skills. The seniors’ photographs counter the narrative of Orange as a “dying” town and showcase its vibrancy and enduring appeal to those who live here.

Senior photographers:
Aqueelah Abdul-Aleem
Muriel Alston
Eileen Bland
Carolyn Hardaway
Elaine L. Henry
Sara Porter

Other photographers in the show include David Joseph, Debra Davidson, Anie Knipping, and David Wiley.
