New Jersey Roller Derby vs WB/Scranton Roller Radicals

  Spring has finally sprung! The snow is melting, flowers are blooming, & the athletes of New Jersey Roller Derby are gearing up for their home season opener. Competing against the ladies of Wilkes Barre/Scranton Roller Radicals, on their home turf, NJRD is anxious to start this season off strong!
Founded in October of 2011, New Jersey Roller Derby is an all-female, flat track roller derby league. Based in Morristown, New Jersey, NJRD became proud members of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s (WFTDA) apprentice program in April of 2013. Striving to become full WFTDA members, this season is sure to be an exciting one. Sponsors this year include MINI of Morristown, Seppuku Tattoo in Bloomingdale, and Dr. James O'Rourke in Cedar Knolls. The ladies of NJRD are also proud to participate in upcoming community events, such as the super hero half marathon in Morristown, and work with various local organizations.
The 2014 season will kick-off on Saturday, April 12th against the Pennsylvania’s WB/Scranton Roller Radicals. Doors open at 5:45 PM, with the starting whistle at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $10 online, $12 at the door (children 6 to 12 years old are $5, children 5 & under are free). All home games this year will be played at Inline Morristown - 38 Dumont Place, Morristown, New Jersey.
Home games this year include May 3rd against the Philly Block Party, May 31st against the Gotham Grand Central Terminators, June 7th against the NJ Hellrazors, & September 6th against the Lehigh Valley Roller Girls Blast Furnace Betties
