Regarding a recent flyer sent out to Villagers about curb displays...

Recently, a flyer has been circulated to Villagers offering "reflective address numbers painted on curbs". Whereas, it may be beneficial in certain emergency situations, it is not mandatory and this flyer has been produced by a private company, not the Township of South Orange Village.

If you have received this flyer, purchase at your discretion with the knowledge that curb displays are not a requirement by the Village and this offer is through a private business.

While curb numbering is not mandatory, Villagers are reminded that numbers must still be displayed on the front of all buildings in the Village and must be visible from the street. Please refer to Village Code 90-2 regarding Village Address Numbering requirements and guidelines.
