Seton Hall Announces New College of Communication And Arts
Professor Deirdre Yates is named interim dean.

Seton Hall University will soon expand its South Orange campus with a new College of Communication and the Arts.
In late July, school administrators announced their plans to officially form a college for the seven existing undergraduate programs it offers in Art, Design/Interactive Media, Art History, Broadcasting/Visual Media, Communications, Music, Public Relations/Journalism, Theatre, Museum Professions, Public Relations, Strategic Communication and Strategic Communication and Leadership online (MASCL).
“This new school will capitalize on Seton Hall’s longstanding ties to [New York City], create more opportunities for our students to receive an immersive education in communication and the arts, and give the University immediate recognition in the cultural and media capital of the world,” stated President A. Gabriel Esteban.
