South Orange Cops Arrest Newark Man In Connection With Burglary

South Orange police charged the 39-year-old with burglarizing a Cameron Road home and trying to burglarize another on Kingman Road.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — South Orange police have arrested a Newark man in connection with a burglary that took place on Cameron Road and an attempted burglary that took place on Kingman Road, authorities say.

According to the South Orange Police Department, officers arrested James Reed, 39, of Newark, on Sept. 27 after an investigation by the detective bureau identified him as a suspect in the Cameron and Kingman Road incidents.

Both incidents occurred during the daylight hours, authorities said.

Police also charged Reed with offenses in Maplewood and West Orange, authorities stated.
