South Orange Gas Station Robbed; Cops Arrest Suspect
The victim gave officers a "detailed" description of the suspect and the vehicle, including the license plate number, South Orange cops say.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — South Orange police have arrested a 25-year-old Lindenwold resident in connection with a robbery at the Delta gas station on Irvington Avenue earlier this month, authorities say.
According to the South Orange Police Department, an employee at the station told officers that around 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 1, a person pulled up to a fuel pump in a green Dodge van. The suspect then got out of the van, struck the employee in the abdomen and reached into his pocket, taking about $250 in cash.
The suspect then got back into the van and fled the scene, heading east on Irvington Avenue, police said.

The victim provided officers with a “detailed” description of the suspect and the vehicle, including the license plate number. Detectives immediately went to the Irvington address of the van’s registered owner. On arrival, they saw the green van allegedly used in the robbery parked in the street with a person inside, authorities stated.
South Orange police arrested the van’s occupant - Kyle Winston, 25, of Lindenwold – and charged him with robbery.
