South Orange Gas Station Robbed: Police
An Irvington Avenue gas station was the target of an armed robbery, South Orange police say.

South Orange, NJ – An Irvington Avenue gas station was the target of an armed robbery on Tuesday, South Orange police say.
According to the South Orange Police Department, an employee at the station told officers that a short male dressed in black and brandishing a firearm – possibly a shotgun - approached him around 11 p.m. and demanded that give him money.
The employee gave the man some cash and the suspect ran from the scene, reportedly making his way through the yards of some nearby homes, police stated.
