South Orange Police Arrest Suspected Seton Hall University Thief
Detectives allege that the Teaneck resident is responsible for several thefts that took place at the Seton Hall University library.

South Orange police have arrested a man who they allege is responsible for several recent thefts that took place at the Seton Hall University library.
On Oct. 5, police arrested Reginald Murph, 31, of Teaneck, and charged him with theft. South Orange detectives stated that Murph is believed to have committed similar offenses at other universities.
An investigation is ongoing, police said.

RECENT ALLEGED LIBRARY THEFTS
- On Oct. 2, a Seton Hall University student told police that around 4:50 p.m., an unknown person removed cash and a credit card from a bag that she left unattended for a short period of time while in the university library.
- On Sept. 29, two students reported that their credit cards were stolen from their personal belonging while they were inside the university library. One of the victims stated that she observed an older male and a female roaming the area of the library acting suspiciously during the time of the thefts. Police stated that the thefts are believed to have occurred during the late evening hours of Sept. 27.
- On Sept. 28, a student stated that on Sept. 27, she was in the university library when she left her bag unattended for a few minutes and an unknown person stole her wallet, which contained her personal identification and credit cards.
