Teenager Arrested On Outstanding Warrant: South Orange Police
Nyquan Flythe had two warrants out of Elizabeth, police said.
SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - A 19-year-old Newark man was arrested on outstanding warrants after an incident with police on May 23, according to the South Orange Police.
According to authorities, at approximately 3 a.m. officers observed two individuals walking in the area of Longview Road where numerous reports of auto theft and auto burglaries have occurred over the last month.
Both subjects gave conflicting stories as to where they were and where they were going, police said. One stated he was 17-years-old so he was transported to South Orange PD where a family member was notified and he was ultimately turned over to his grandparent.

The second subject provided false information to officers and was placed under arrest for hindering and providing false information, police said. His identity was found to be Nyquan Flythe, a 19-year old Newark resident, police said. He was found to have two active warrants out of Elizabeth totaling $500, police said.
