Art Show and Sale

Local Artists Showcase their Talent

The Sparta United Methodist church will be hosting their annual art show and sale, Saturday November 14th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. 

The exhibit will feature the talent of local artists.  

Carolyn Hartley, the programs coordinator and award winning artist has been inspired by the exceptional artists in the area. Her work has been shown in California, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

“As an artist myself, I thought it would be great to invite new local artists to participate in this show, as well as the more seasoned artists,” said Hartley.

The event was so well received by the community a few years ago that Harley and her committee decided to make it an annual show and sale.

”We received applications from artists of all ages, so we're anticipating another impressive show,” said Hartley. “And we have a few local artists participating whose work is fairly well known.”

The event will exhibit multidisciplinary artistic works. All artists will be present throughout the event to showcase their talents, and to answer questions about the art. Visitors can browse and purchase a wide range of art work including paintings, photography, glass art, ceramics, cards and more making this event the perfect opportunity to find unique holiday, birthday, hostess and house warming gifts while supporting area talent.

All art will be available to take home that day.  

This event is free and open to the public. The venue has ample parking and mobility accessibility.

Come out and soak in some local talent, and get inspired.

All proceeds from the show will benefit educational programs and community-building opportunities for young people.
