The Springfield Library is hosting "The Battle of Springfield". Springfield resident Mark Hurwitz, current Commander/National President of the Brigate of the American Revolution, presents a program on the Battle of Springfield. The climactic battle of the "Final Invasion" of New Jersey, fought on June 23rd, 1790, put an end to British plans for invasion of New Jersey. Come and learn more about the "forgotten victory."
