Springfield's Eighth graders will get a glimpse into their future tonight. Starting at 7 p.m., at Halsey Hall Auditorium, Jonathan Dayton High School holds its annual High School Orientation Program.
Parents, guardians and children of the Class of 2014 can get a taste of Jonathan Dayton High School and everything it has to offer. Coaches, club advisors and student peers will be there to answer any questions, offer advice and rally up some school spirit (Go Bulldogs!) Student Council representatives will talk about the importance of extra-curricular activities, while guidance counselors will be there to tackle scheduling and college inquiries.
As a kickoff to the Class of 2014/JDHS relationship, orientation will acquaint new families with the students, teachers, advisors and a tour of the building. Students are encouraged to join.
