Summit Junior Fortnightly Travel Auction benefits Summit Educational Foundation - SEF

Summit - The Summit Junior Fortnightly Club held its 26th Travel Auction on Saturday, March 5, at the Morris Museum in Morristown. This year's theme was "Oh the places you'll go!" Close to 170 people attended the event which raised over $56,000 for the Summit Educational Foundation - SEF.  The event featured a silent auction, dinner and dancing, followed by a live auction.   SEF is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1986 to support innovative co-curricular educational programs initiated by teachers and the school district which serve to further Summit's high standards for excellence in education. The foundation provides grants to the public schools to enhance the learning experience of Summit children at every grade level and at every school in the community, thereby benefiting the more than 3,000 families with children attending Summit's public schools.
