Weichert, Realtors' Summit Office Joins Forces With The Pediatric HealthStart Program To Benefit Children & Families

With the season of giving upon us, Robyn Barone, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Summit office, has announced that her office will once again be joining forces with the Pediatric HealthStart Program at Overlook Hospital to bring joy to critically ill children and their families who are associated with the program.

As part of the 37th Annual Weichert Toy Drive, the Summit Weichert, Realtors’ office, which is located at 474 Morris Avenue, will be collecting new, unwrapped toys now through Thursday, December 17. The local community is invited to drop by the office between 12:00pm and 3:00pm on December 17 to kick-off the holiday season. Attendees are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys for the critically ill children associated with the Pediatric HealthStart Program at Overlook Hospital.

“This is our way of giving back to the community that has given us so much,” said Barone. “The holidays mark a time of year when charitable organizations receive their greatest demand for assistance, and it is our hope that through this drive we will be able to bring joy to many deserving children and families.”

The community based program provides a vital service to medically under-served children ages birth to 21 by offering preventive and disease related care to over 500 area children each year. The program ensures that children receive comprehensive primary care services including preventive and sick care, outreach, nutritional counseling, referrals for pediatric subspecialty care, and social support services all in one location.
