HACKENSACK, NJ – June 13, 2017 – Buddies of N.J. will be partnering with Walgreens for three consecutive days so to benefit its community and offer free HIV testing services. This nonprofit's aim is based in northern New Jersey, and benefits those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. The event will be held on June 27th through the 29th from 3:00-7:00pm at the Walgreens Pharmacy located on 100 Broadway in Elmwood Park. Welcome to all, Buddies’ services will benefit the general health of many locals. The testing will be in the form of a walk-up, and does not require payment or a previous appointment.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), everyone should be tested a minimum of one time between the ages of 13 and 64. The CDC also notes that individuals should consider getting tested numerous times throughout their lives. The upcoming Walgreens clinic encourages individuals of all communities, genders, and sexualities to utilize the upcoming testing services hosted by Buddies.
