Possible Gas Leak Causes Rodda Center Closure In Teaneck

The Richard Rodda Center is closed, and all programs have been canceled, township officials announced on Wednesday morning.

TEANECK, NJ — A "building emergency" has closed the Richard Rodda Center on Wednesday, township officials announced.

Township Manager Dean Kazinci told Patch that the building was closed "out of an abundance of caution" due to a possible gas leak.

The news was announced shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, as officials said all programs were canceled for the day.

Officials were still trying to determine the origin of the potential leak at the time of the closure. Kazinci said that "staff from PSE&G, our fire department, and public works are trying to locate the source."
