Call for Artists!

Local artists sought to create STORM DRAIN MURALS along the Hackensack Greenway through Teaneck!

WHAT? Artists sought to create attention-grabbing pieces of artwork around Teaneck STORM DRAINS! Murals must be environmentally themed, and inform citizens that these drains carry untreated water directly to streams, lakes, and rivers.

WHERE? Murals will be painted around five storm drains near River Road, along the Hackensack Greenway. Size should not exceed 25 square feet.

WHY? Storm drain murals will educate pedestrians and local citizens about keeping pollutants out of our waterways, and will enhance the natural beauty of the river area.
