District Officials Ask For Public Input In Teaneck Superintendent Search
Residents may attend a public meeting or complete a survey telling officials what qualities they want in a superintendent.

TEANECK, N.J. — The Board of Education is looking for feedback from residents regarding its search for a new district superintendent.
Vincent McHale is interim schools chief since September when Superintendent Barbara Pinsak retired in September.
Ray & Associates, a search firm, and the board trustees, will host a series of meetings Feb. 13 to help develop an idea of who they want the new superintendent to be.

Residents are invited to one of the following sessions in the staff development room at the board of education office at 1 Merrison St.:
- Township elected officials, 12:40 to 1:15 p.m.
- Township clergy: 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.
- PTO/PTA/PTSO members: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Sessions will also be held in the Cheryl Miller Port Center at Teaneck High School.

- From 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. community leaders and members of local sorority and fraternity chapters, LINKS, One Hundred Black Women, NAACP, Rotary Club, Holy Name Medical Center, Fairleigh Dickinson and the Teaneck Chamber of Commerce.
- From 6:30 to 8 p.m.: Members of the community.
Residents who are unable to attend may complete an online survey.
