DOES MEMORY LOSS MEAN IT IS ALZHEIMER'S?
Family members will learn about memory loss in their loved ones, when to be concerned and what to do about it

Bergen County area residents are invited to the Alzheimer’s Association’s community education program on dementia, entitled, “Understanding Memory Loss”. The program will be held on Thursday, March 19, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at The Tenafly Senior Center, 20 South Summit Street, Tenafly The program is free but registration is required to reserve seating and materials. Please call 973.586.4300 by March 18 to RSVP.
Program Description: Memory loss that disrupts everyday life is not a normal part of aging. This program will explore the difference between normal age-related memory changes and abnormal changes that are associated with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia disorders, including the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease. The presentation will discuss the importance of receiving thorough diagnostic evaluation when symptoms first arise, current treatment options, and research advances.
